Creating out site, we tried to answer numerous urgent questions that interest both the guests and citizens of Kazan in the threshold of the 1000-th anniversary: if Kazan is really 1000 years old and why its birthday celebrated exactly on August, 30; how the history of the city developed and what trace it left in the world culture; what events influenced the fate of Kazan and which were influenced by Kazan, etc. Besides the articles that describe in details the main events of political, economic, religious and cultural life of the city, “Line of Millennium” accumulated literary, songs and pictures archives, biographies of well-known Kazan citizens, and many other materials.
At the same time “Line of Millennium” keeps up to date, describing the mains events and the most burning problems of nowadays, organizes various contests, dedicated to the 1000-th anniversary of Kazan and helps to take bearings to both guests and citizens of the Tatarstan capital.
