F.Mukhametshin: preparartion for the 1000-anniversary of Kazan imposes special responsibility on Plenipotentiary Representations of the RT

Today at the RT State Council the meeting of permanent, plenipotentiary and trading representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan with head of the Republican parliament Farid Mukhametshin took place .

Welcoming the guests, Farid Mukhametshin noted, that the meeting traditionally passes before the annual address of RT President РТ to the RT State Council of the Republic. Past year - was year of creation, economic growth and political stability. We have felt your support. At the same time, I should notice, not all representations had worked equally successfully. The trade turnover with Austria, Cyprus, Vietnam, Iraq has a little decreased. I remind, you face two important tasks - to represent Tatarstan on international scene and to advance products of our commodity producers, - Farid Mukhametshin said . He also emphasized, that this year the meeting is passing before the important events. For the first time head of national republic will be vested with powers according to the new federal law.

Telling about the oncoming 1000-anniversary of Kazan, head of parliament emphasized, that Tatarstan capital should receive honoured guests from 89 subjects of the Russian Federation, and from number of the countries of near and far abroad. In this connection a lot of work is laid on shoulders of Tatarstan representations, in fact anniversary of Kazan is it not only a holiday, but also a serious spadework. Besides, this year the RT State Council will pay a special attention to strengthening inter-parliament cooperation. The head of parliament called plenipotentiaries for assistance in the given work. In Farid Mukhametshin's opinion, the issues of rotation and terms of stay in a post of plenipotentiary and trade representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan in various regions and the countries of near and far abroad should be regulated by RT law, international and RF MFA standards.

According to director of Department of external communications of RT President Timur Akulov taking part in the meeting, in the current year besides trade and economic activity the serious problem on work with fellow tribesmen is necessary. In particular, selection of young people for training in Tatarstan will be carried out. The corresponding arrangement has been achieved with the RF Ministry of Education and the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. Training 90 students in higher educational institutions of Tatarstan will be paid from the federal budget, he said.
