"Tatneft" to recover oil in Syria

On Sunday, March 20, signing the contract on prospecting, development and oil recovery on conditions of production sharing agreement on the block №27 between JSC " Tatneft ", the Government of Syrian Arabian Republic and the Syrian oil company took place in Damascus. The contract assumes conducting prospecting works within 7 years ( basic prospecting period makes 3 years and two prolongations for 2 years under the discretion of "Tatneft"). The period of development and oil recovery with the subsequent sharing the output makes 25 years, the press-service of the company informs.
