The Order of the President of the Tatarstan republic dated 1.09.1999 Nî UP-698 "The Celebration of the 1000th Jubilee of the Kazan City" | According to the results of large-scale scientific researches on the history of Kazan, done by scientists from our country and abroad, and the resolution of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences on the foundation of the Kazan City, confirmed by the history department of the Academy of Sciences of Russia, and taking into consideration the specific value of Kazan as the capital of Tatarstan, as well as political, scientific, industrial and cultural center, the president of the republic of Tatarstan issued the Order “The Celebration of the 1000th Jubilee of the Kazan City” and resoled to hold the 1000th jubilee of Kazan in August 2005. It was decided to accept the proposal of the presidium of the Kazan United Council of People’s Deputies and Administration of the Kazan City to celebrate the Day of the Kazan City on August 30 annually on the Day of the Tatarstan republic and form the Republican Commission on the celebration arrangements of the 1000th jubilee of Kazan. |
