Cyprus is ready to cooperate with Tatarstan in the field of energy, industry and tourism

Today two-day working visit to Tatarstan by delegation of the Republic of Cyprus led by Minister of trade, industry and tourism of this country Yorgos Lillikas has started. In second half day Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with members of the Cyprian delegation at the RT Cabinent.

Subject of the dialogue covered the further development of mutually advantageous trade and economic relations between our republic and Cyprus. Perspective directions of cooperation as Yorgos Lillkas informed upon end of the meeting in interview to journalists, energy sector, industry and high technologies. Cyprus is ready to share out also with our republic the wide experience which has been saved up in sphere of services and tourism. The point that from strengthening cooperation both parties will only get winning is of no doubt. « Economy of Tatarstan and Cyprus do not compete but mutually supplement each other », the Cyprus minister emphasized. He informed as well about intention of the Cyprian party to organize a seminar in his country with participation of commercial and industrial chambers of Cyprus and Tatarstan with a view of facilitating closer contacts between representatives of small and middle business and reactivationg trade relations.
