President of RT Mintimer Shaimiev suggested to head board of guardians of new all-Russian movement "Russian Islamic Heritage"

Yesterday, constituent conference of social movement « Russian Islamic heritage (RIH) » took place in GKPZ "Rossia". Chechen businessman Husein Dzhabrailov elected Chairman of RIH.

At the conference it was decided to suggest President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and member Council of Federation from the Chechen republic Umaru Dzhabrailov to head board of RIH guardians.

Husein Dzhabrailov stated that the task of new movement consists in uniting business, political and scientific elite of Muslims, « so that the Muslim community worked on itself ».

More than 90 delegates from the Russian regions deputies, senators, representatives of RF Council of muftis, diplomatic missions, orientalists took part in constituent conference of Russian Islamic Heritage. The state adviser to RT President Rafael Khakimov, philosopher and public figure Geidar Dzhemal have been elected to executive committee of the movement.
