Kazan factory of synthetic caoutchouc started producing new joint sealants

Kazan factory of synthetic caoutchouc is planning to produce by the year 2008 clarified polysulfide rubber and polysulfide rubber sealants.

The factory is at present a monopolist in production of polysulfide rubber – a raw stuff for joint sealants (for example, for glass packets). Additional sale volume of new products is to exceed 721,5 million rubles a year, whereas last year the enterprise manufactured polysulfide rubbers totaling 500 million rubles. Moreover, the enterprise is planning to settle new brands and new types of polysulfide rubber (special polysulfide rubbers for the USA), the market expansion at the expense of the USA, China, India and South-Eastern Asia. It is also expected to complete the properties of polysulfide rubber for individual requirements of major consumers, to manufacture and deliver accompanying goods like plasticizers.
