A student Cinema-marathon “We choose life” organized by RT Culture Ministry Cinematography department and several Kazan state universities started tîday at Khimikov Palace of culture. The cinematographic marathon is going to take place at Tukai cinema from November 17 till November 29.
The students of Kazan State Energy University wer the first to be invited to the venue. Later sudents of other seven state universities will visit the festival. The cinema festival is held at the expense of funds of a complex repubclican program “Drug counteraction 2002-2006”. From the point of view of Cinematograpy department director Nailya Kamalova, the aim of the action is narcotization prophylaxis and popularization of a healthy lifestyle. Similar enterprises were held for school children, a cinema festival for students is organized for the first time.
The key part of the marathon was a Victor Merezhko movie “Under a blue sky” telling the horrors of life of two young drug addicts. Before the movie, the students of Kazan State Energy University and Culture and Art university made a tiny performance. Head doctor assistant of city narcological clinic Rezeda Khayeva made a speech, and told tragic life stories of drug addicts. |
