Tokarev changed a competitor

Tokarev’s rival for a rating fight on December 3, 2005 is changed. As Rinat Yusupov, the manager of Vadim Tokarev, reported, a decision was made to refuse to compete with a WBA ex-champion Orlean Norris, who unexpectedly lost in the 7th round after a technical knockout on November 3 in a fight with a little known British Olavale Afolaby, a training partner of Tokarev in Las Vegas.

As Yusupov noted, the outcome of the fight was shocking for the organizers of the next fight with Tokarev. Orlean informed about his wish to leave the ring.

The manager acclaimed that Tokarev is likely to participate in a tournament organized by a famous American promoter Gary Shaw. The name of Tokarev’s competitor will be known in the nearest future.
