Tatarstan in tough competition with Russian regions plans to win two applications for creation SEZ

Tatarstan has submitted to the RF Ministry of economic development and trade applications for setting up industrial and production zone "Alabuga" and engineering - introduction zone in Kazan on the basis of technopark "IDEA".

The RT First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Industry B. Pavlov announced today at the meeting with journalists. As he said, the Republic expects to have the upper hand in tough competition with the Russian regions the right to open special economic zone that enable duty free to bring in import equipment and to enjoy tax privileges on property.
