An international scientific-practical conference on modern ultrasonic technoligies

An international conference “VISUS” on application matters of three-dimensional echography in ultrasonic diagostics will be held on October 28-29 in the interregional diagnostic center.

The organizers of the conference are Interregional Diagnostic Center of RT Healthcare Ministry, and Vienna International school of three-dimensional echography with assistance of GE Medical Systems. Participants from Russia’s regions and CIS countries will get to know diagnostic means of modern ultrasonic technologies. There are reports and masterclasses of leading specialists from Austria, Germany, Russia and presentation of latest ultrasonic equipment of GE Medical Systems on the program of the conference, the press-servie of the Interregional Diagnostic Center informs.

The Interregional Diagnostic Center was the first in the republic to use a three-dimensional echography, allowing to get a dimensional image of the organs examined. This technique is successfully used in all types of ultrasound investigations from encephalon vessels to estimaiton of fetus development during pregnancy.
