There is no influenza in Tatarstan

No case of influenza was registered in Tatarstan. 8,5-9 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections are registered every week in the republic, there being no influenza cases defined. The spread of viral infections is below epidemiological threshold, as it was stated in the RT local management of Federal service of human health and prosperity.

A campaign on prophylactic immunization is being held in Tatarstan. 86000 Tatarstan citizens (and that is 12% of the planned number) got vaccination by now. 740 000 Tatarstan people are expected to get immunized (compared to 615 000 vaccinated in 2004).
