In Kazan there was opened a new international equestrian sport center, having no equal in Russia. When you look at this huge center the first question that comes to your mind is the expedience of the project. In Kazan the football team “Rubin” has been playing in the Premier-League already for three years, but it is not often that the stadium is full. And as for the equestrian sport – it’s for lovers only.
But here the authors showed more foresight and thought over the ways of attracting spectators to the stands. For this purpose they needed only comfortable, though rather costly infrastructure. That’s why it was decided to place on the territory of the new international equestrian sport center a multi-level restaurant, a café, a disco-club and a stake receiving center. Common people were touched by such a great concern for the comfort of their leisure, and inspired by the status of the new race track, thus during the opening the female part of the spectators strutted about wearing elegant hats, like those used at the famous English races “Royal Ascot”.
Òo the ceremony of race track opening came the Presidents of Russia, Tatarstan, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan and the members of the Russian government. It turned out that Vladimir Putin is a venturous person: 4 times he staked on totalizator, twice he won and twice lost.
However, the show began not with the races, but with a great theatrical performance about the history of the 1000-year-old Kazan. And not far from the arena there was situated a very original multinational village. In each house, decorated in accordance with the traditions of this or that nation one could taste dishes of the national cuisine. For a moment there came a feeling that we came back to the time of the USSR. All in all 32 national communities took part in the process of bringing this village to life. And what’s interesting, the people came from different parts of the republic only to reconstruct on a small piece of land the atmosphere of their historic Motherland, - no matter if it was Ukraine, Armenia, or another country.

The President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev was pleased with the show and noticed that the race organization level, as well as the condition of the race tack surpassed all his expectations.
Actually not only he was surprised, but all those who followed the process of erecting of this huge building in such a limited period of time. Already on August, 30 here will take place the competition for the Cup of the President of Tatarstan.
