Monument to scientist V.M. Bekhterev unveiled in Kazan

The monument to the outstanding Russian scientist, founder of national scientific school of psychiatry Vladimir Mikhailovich Bekhterev was unveiled in the center of Kazan.

Place of monumental perpetuating memory of V. Bekhterev - neuropathologist, psychiatrist, psychologist and physiologist with a world name - became the square along Volkov street, located opposite to Kazan city psycho-neurologist hospital created under his direct participation and bearing nowadays his name.

In solemn ceremony of opening the monument - bust of V.M.Bekhterev ( sculptor - Makhmut Gasimov , architect - German Bakulin) together with the medical public of Kazan Deputy Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova, RT Minister of Health Kamil Zyatdinov, and other officials took part.
