Exhibition "Kazan in history of Finnish expeditions to open

August 22, the exhibition "Kazan in history of the Finnish expeditions" opens at the Gorky museum in Kazan. The exhibition displays 20 reproductions of pictures by Finnish artist Agaton Reinholm on which Kazan of the end of XIX century is embodied.

In 1880th years A. Reinholm together with ethnographer Aksel Heikel traveled to the Volga region studying peoples of our region. From this travel the artist returned with a series of pictures which were not shown in Kazan before.
