Objects of the 1000-anniversary are ready by more than 90 percent

Today the RT Ministry of construction, architecture, housing and utulities organized detour of the 1000-anniversary objects for the jounalists to appraise their readiness for anniversary of Kazan. Representatives of mass-media of the republic visited the Ice palace, the International horse-racing complex and the Inter-regional clinic- diagnostic center.

The multipurpose ice arena “Kazan-1000”- is ready by 90 percent, civil works and installation of refrigerating machinery have been already completed here, only some cosmetic finish works of premises left. The Palace of sports to be commissioned on August 20. The RF hockey federation having examined the Kazan ice palace made the conclusion from which follows, that matches of any level are possible to hold there. The number of seats in the palace - 10000, while holding events the number of seats can be increased up to 12000. The training arena contains 2200 spectators. Budget cost of the project - 58 million dollars. The customer of the object is the bank "Zenith", general contractor - company "Lemkon" Finland.

New international horse-racing complex is ready approximately by 95 percent. By its scope, characteristics and infrastructure the new Kazan hippodrome represents one of the largest horse-racing complexes of the world. The general area of object - 89,4 hectares. There are entrance zone with cash offices, parking place for 1000 places on this space, demonstration zone including closed stand for 4000 seats and open stand for 2000 seats, big display board and video-screen, there are also system of restaurants, cafe, bars, museum of horse breeding and totalizator here. 12 stables will be placed in economic zone. Hippodrome field consists of race path with unique covering ( 1800 meters in length), racetrack (1600 meters), training path (1400 meters), platform for show-jumping. Budget cost of horse-racing complex - 1,8 billion roubles.

Construction of Inter-regional clinic-diagnostic center started in 1986, since 1999 the center has been functioning in a mode of out-patient - diagnostic establishment. In December, 2004, the hospital with departments of cardiology, neurology and therapy opened . Annually more than 150 thousand people pass examination and treatment in the Center. For today finishing works on reconstruction and modernisation of the surgical bloc are underway . Budget cost of the project - 1,4 billion roubles.
