"Kazan - orgsintez" has real chance seriously to announce itself on world markets"

Prime minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to one of the main city-forming enterprises of Kazan JSC "Kazanorgsintez" where number of modernizing and building productions caught his attention.

Among the objects visited by PM production of phenol and plant on manufacturing and processing of polyethylene of low density where now modernization is underway. Implementation of modernization of existing production enables association to increase capacities from 190 thousand tons up to 500 thousand tons per year. Thus, after successful end of the project "Kazanorgsintez" will be capable to produce more more than 700 thousand tons polyethylene of various brands per year.

Rustam Minnikhanov has inspected also bisphenol "A" and polycarbonates production. The joint project provides production of polycarbonates plastic by general capacity on bisphenol "A" 70000 tons per year and on polycarbonates 65000 tons per year. We note, that presently industrial production of such kind of plastic as polycarbonates received only on the basis of phenol and acetone, in Russia and the countries CIS are not available. Therefore the main part of the new production necessary for manufacturing compact discs for computers, audio and video-equipments, heavy-duty windscreens for trucks and buses, various pavilions, the enterprise plans to deliver to the Russian consumers.

In the comment to journalists Prime-Minister noted, modernization of JSC "Kazanorgsintez" is an important section of the plan for developing the enterprise for the period to year 2011. The measures held for association would allow, as he said, " to appear in close future some kind of " Orgsintez ¹ 2"
