International field seminar of archaeologists in Bolgar

On July 23, International Field Seminar of archaeologists “Settlements of Middle Age epoch in the Volga-Kama area: peculiarity of appearance and development”.

According to RT Academy of Sciences, the Seminar is dedicated to 1000th anniversary of Kazan. Director of Institute of Archaeology of Russian Academy of Sciences Nikolai Makarov, Director of Institute of History n.a. Marjani of RT Academy of Sciences Rafail Khakimov, known archaeologists Fayaz Khuzin and Airat Sitdikov will perform their reports at the scientific forum. The seminar will continue until July 29. There will be scholars from other regions of Russia and foreign countries as well.
