" The great value recently is given to creation of light multi-purpose helicopters with load capacity about a thousand kgs. The educational-training helicopters "Ansat-U" and Ka-60U are the new developments. The state tests of the first of them are planned to be carried out in 2005 ", - the Commander-in-chief said. He noted, that light multi-purpose helicopters of similar load capacity become prototypes for creation special purpose complexes in interests of all kinds of armed forces (educational-training, hardware investigation, medical, etc.).
The helicopter " Ansat " is developed at the Kazan helicopter plant. It is designed for one pilot and nine passengers. The maximal take-off weight - 3,3 tons, the maximal cargo in a cabin - 1 ton. Cruiser speed of the helicopter - 250 kms at one o'clock. "Ansat" is equipped with two engines PW-207K of the Canadian company "Pratt&Whitney". The Educational updating of the helicopter "Ansat-U" which is equipped with the wheel chassis and the dual management, is intended for training to piloting of the helicopter of flying schools cadets and civil persons, and also for retraining of pilots and increase of their qualification.
"Ansat -U" is the unique Russian helicopter equipped with digital electric system of remote control (KSU-A).The occurrence of a digital control system by engines allows to simulate a mode of deenergizing of the engine without its stop.
