According to the information placed on official site of the Kazan diocese, on July 20 at 5p.m. the most Holy Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexi II together with arch-priests and clergy of diocese will make a Nightlong vigil in St.Peter and Paul's cathedral of Kazan.
Next day the patriarch will take part in Divine liturgy which is to begin at 9 a.m. in the morning in the Annunciation cathedral of the Kazan Kremlin. At 12.30. p.m. the religious procession with icon Kazan Mother of God will take place from the Kremlin to the Virgin monastery where prayer service should take place. At 4 p.m. visiting of Zilanontov's monastery by Patriarch Alexi II monastery is planned.
On July 22, the scientific-practical conference "Orthodox in poly-confessional society history and modernity" is due to open at the NCC "KAZAN". |
