Anniversary medals founded in honour of the 1000-anniversary of Kazan...

The most respected people will receive medals " in memory of the 1000-anniversary of Kazan" founded by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The head of Kazan K. Iskhakov informed the journalists about it.

The awards will be delivered to residents of Kazan, participants of Great Patriotic war, the workers of rear worked in Kazan during Great Patriotic war not less of 6 months or awarded with orders and medals of the USSR for self-denying work in Great Patriotic war, work veterans. Anniversary medals will be handed also to the citizens who have brought in a significant contribution to development of Kazan in spite of the fact that these people are not our fellow countrymen.
