Scientific - practical conference opens in Kazan

On June 23, the scientific - practical conference "Revival of Islam in Tatar society : problems and prospects" opens in Kazan. As its organizers appeared the Executive committee of World Congress of Tatars and Religious Board of RT Muslims.

About 150 religious figures - representatives of Muslim communities from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation including from republics of the Volga region, Moscow, Leningrad, the Nizhniy Novgorod will take part in the conference. They will discuss problems of arranging of Muslim parishes, socio-linguistic aspects of mosque's activity and Muslim religious education in Russia. A number of reports is devoted to studying jadidism.
