Festival "Europe - Asia 2005" opened in Kazan

The first concert of VII International Festival of modern music "Europe - Asia 2005", devoted to the 1000-anniversary of Kazan took place in Kazan. The Moscow ensemble of modern music performed in the Concert hall of the RT Union of composers under direction of Jury Kasparov. Official opening of festival will take place on May 26 in concert hall of Agro-Hall of the Kazan agricultural academy.

At the concert - meeting "Suite in ancient style for flute and piano by Alfred Shnitke, original works of composers from Holland Robert Nasvelda, Teo Luvendi and Gus Yanssen, "Landscape leaving for infinity" by Juri Kasparov were performed.
