At opening of a mosque Kul Sharif guests will receive reprinting of the first Russian printed Koran

The session of organizing committee on preparation and holding the festive actions devoted to official opening Kul Sharif mosque and the Blagoveshchensky cathedral at the Kazan Kremlin took place at RT Cabinet. The session was conducted by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

The main issue in the agenda - opening of Kul Sharif mosque which will take place on June, 24 - chronologically before the Blagoveshchensky cathedral. In opinion of sessions's participants , the opening of the main Muslim temple of the republic should be perceived by the population not only as religious, but also as the major cultural and public event in life of Tatarstan.

At session the list of the guests of honour invited to a celebration by President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, organizing committee and Religious Board of RT Muslims was sounded. Among them Secretary General of Organization of Islamic conference Eklemedin Iskhanoglu Minister on affairs of religions of Turkish republic Ali Bardakoglu , Minister of Wakfa on affairs of Islam of state Kuwait Abdalla Maatuk Al Maatuk, Chairman of Council of muftis of Russia Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of Central spiritual management of Muslims Talgat hyazryat Tajeddin, 14 ambassadors from Muslim countries in the Russian Federation, all muftis of the CIS countries and regions of Russian Federation, also all Tatarastan imams (over 1000 persons). At the celebration in the Kazan Kremlin organizers are going to accept in total 5 thousand people.

The head of Kazan city administration Kamil Iskhakov announced that by June 24 all circulation of the reprint edition of the first printed Quran published in Kazan in 1803 will be received. This edition of the Koran will be received by each VIP - guest.
