Today on Day of Slavic Writing and Culture RT Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of culture Zilya Valeyeva addressed Tatarstanians with congratulation in which she noted that in republic where lives more than 100 nationalities this holiday gets a special value.

"Day of SLavic writing and culture" is truly national and international holiday for Tatarstanins becasue the Word given to us by great humanists - educators Cyril and Mefody , reflecting features and destinies of each ethnos, serves for mutual enrichment of cultures, high ideals and friendship. It turns us not only to sources of writing, but also wakens spiritual and creative beginning, national consciousness and gives a new pulse to revival of national creativity, customs and traditions which are passing from father to son-, - is said in the congratulation.
