Union of Tatarstan journalists is invited to participate in prestigious European competition "Prize of Europe"

Chairman of the RT Union of journalists, Deputy Chairman of the republican parliament Rimma Ratnikova invites Tatatarstan journalists to take part in prestigious European competition "Prize Europe 2005".

"Prize Europe" has been founded by the Council of Europe for talented journalists, TV directors and cinematographers. As known, Russia entered the Council of Europe in 1996, meanwhile, in our country only the few are aware about this high award. Holding of competition passes under umbrella of the Committee on culture of Chamber of regions of the Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe which chairman is the head of Tatarstan parliament Farid Mukhametshin . Among official partners of "Prize Europe" such well known radio-broadcasting companies, as "Radio France-, "Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg", "France Televisions-and others.

This year 13 awards on 9 categories are established: Internet, radio-drama, documentary broadcast, art and documentary television movie,a TV news, category "IRIS"-(multicultural programs), Europe Geneva, Europe SPOT ( minute sketch).

As Rimma Ratnikova told in interview to agency "Tatar -Inform" participation of Tatarstan journalists, TV men and cinematographers in prestigious European competition may become one more gift to 1000-years anniversary of Kazan.
