Almost 13 thousand Tatarstanians voluntary passed their weapons

Over 12600 facts of voluntary delivery of the weapons by residents of the republic has been registered in Tatarstan for last ten years.

7885 people received monetary compensation for this in total amount of over 3 million 700 thousand roubles. Such figures were announced today at briefing in the Department of Internal Affairs of Kazan.

As Deputy chief of militia of public safety of RT Ministry of Internal Affair Vasili Sokolov informed according to the article 222 of RF Criminal Code the person, voluntary having passed a weapon, an ammunition, explosives is freed from the criminal liability. In Tatarstan for voluntary delivery of the weapon besides removal of the criminal liability monetary compensation is stipulated.
