ITC Arrives In Kazan

6 April, International Trade Centre delegation arrives in Kazan. It subordinates both WTO and UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The delegation is headed by Head of office of Arab countries, Europe and CIS Affairs Daniel Ivarsson and Trade Development Project Co-ordinator Elena Butrimova.

One of the key directions of ITC is technical aid to the developing countries for broadening and diversification of their foreign trade, export in particular. According to RT Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Cooperation, ITC picked Tatarstan as the first pilot platform in Russia for their project implementation. Cooperation to be developed in the field of strategies working out for foreign trade improvement, forming export backing infrastructure, staff training specialised in export promotion, establishing joint enterprises focused on export, research on export capacities of the republic.
